Getting started
Brief
Every production starts with a conversation. We’ll explore your project, define your goals, and refine the brief. This helps shape a clear direction before taking the next steps. A typical briefing will:
- Discuss the concept, ideas, and creative direction
- Identify key stakeholders and decision-makers
- Define the scope, key objectives, and any logistical considerations
- Explore messaging, tone, and visual style
Proposal
We’ll prepare a proposal outlining the scope, creative approach, and costs. It provides a clear structure for the production, detailing what’s involved and how we’ll move forward. A typical proposal will:
- Refine the project brief and set creative objectives
- Provide reference films for inspiration
- Outline pre-production planning and key logistics
- Allocate filming days and timeframes
- Detail crew, equipment, and travel requirements
- Estimate post-production and review timelines
- Define deliverables and final outputs
- Present fee estimates and production scope options
- Include an agreement for all parties to sign
Commencement
Once the proposal agreement is signed and the deposit invoice is paid, we set things in motion. Key dates are booked, logistics are locked in, and preproduction begins. For larger productions, we may schedule a commencement call with all stakeholders to align on the next steps. We’ll also collect any relevant brand assets or materials needed for production.
