Filming
Filming days are the most exciting part of the process, and we hope you’ll enjoy the experience as much as we do.
Depending on the scale and complexity of the production, filming may take place over a single day or extend across multiple days. The schedule is carefully structured to capture the project in the best possible light, while allowing flexibility for creative and technical adjustments.
A typical day of filming
A typical filming day begins just after sunrise, making use of soft morning light for external scenes. Exteriors are often prioritised in the morning or late afternoon when sunlight is lower in the sky, creating flattering conditions for elevations and interior spaces.
If drone footage is part of the production, we’ll fly our own drones or coordinate with licensed operators and ensure compliance with local airspace regulations.
As the day progresses, the focus shifts to interiors and interviews. These are typically scheduled between 10 am and 2 pm to avoid the harsh midday light and achieve a balanced, natural look. Some architectural projects benefit from specific lighting conditions at different times of day, and we adapt the schedule accordingly to capture these nuances.
Breaks
Breaks are essential to maintaining focus and productivity throughout the day. Short coffee breaks and longer lunch breaks are factored into the schedule to keep the crew and participants refreshed without unnecessary delays.
Wrap
Before wrapping, we do a final check to ensure all required shots have been captured. Camera gear, lighting, and audio equipment are packed for transport, and the filming location is returned to its original state. Everyone leaves with a sense of accomplishment, knowing the project has been captured with care and attention to detail.
