A thoughtful transformation for community and connection
The reimagined spaces within Duchesne College’s main building enhance both social interaction and privacy, aligning with the college’s values of leadership, culture, and sustainability. m3’s alterations to the internal courtyard and breakout areas introduce flexible meeting spaces that support a dynamic, community-focused environment for students and staff. The design balances openness with seclusion, ensuring that each space encourages both collaboration and quiet retreat.
Our approach to documenting this project focused on capturing the interplay between these elements—emphasising the private yet social nature of the meeting pods, the improved sight lines, and the refined ceiling design in the foyer. Carefully framed compositions illustrate how the new spaces facilitate movement and interaction while maintaining a strong connection to the surrounding architecture. The result is a considered visual record that reflects the project’s intent and execution with clarity and depth.
